This milking shed and cow bails were given to the Village by the McIntosh family from Plainland in 2003. Originally the property was owned by the Fritz family, German settlers of the area. Norman Fritz and Mickey Lyne built the shed and bails in the mid to late 1940s. The original site of this dairy is where the Plainland Woolworths complex now stands.
