The 1928 Linn Tractor is one of only three known to exist in Australia and the only one to be exhibited in a public Historical Museum. What a truly great old machine. It reached a top speed of 7mph (11.2 km/h). This machine has been wonderfully restored and maintained and even gets to drive down the main street of Laidley in the Annual Spring Festival Parade. The Linn Tractor, along with the bobtail jinker was used extensively on Mt Mistake harvesting and carting forest timbers such as red cedar. Also on display is a 1924 timber jinker, based on a bullock wagon design.
