Opening Hours

The Laidley Historical Society Museum is open 7 days a week from 9am until 3 pm, or by appointment and is located to the south of the town on an old paddock which used to be a resting paddock for the Cobb & Co horses.
Situated on the site of the original camping ground of the teamsters on the old Drayton/Toowoomba Road is the Laidley Pioneer Village.

It was the first Village Complex in Queensland and for the last 25 years has entertained thousands of visitors and instructed thousands of school children in the ways of our early pioneers.

Because the Pioneer Village is manned entirely by volunteers who try to maintain a continual presence in the Village, it may be necessary to close occassionally due to unforseen circumstances.

Because of this, we urge you to telephone before you leave home to ensure that the Village will be open for you. (07) 5465 2516
